Content of training programs:

Level I

The Basic Course for high-altitude workers provides users with basic knowledge in the areas of rope access and positioning techniques. Prerequisites for the operation of SZT construction sites, material information and selection, maintenance and examination of the various equipment components are all demonstrated. The training program is limited to standard vertical work techniques. In addition, anchoring, bracing, and connection knots are taught. An important aspect of this program is instruction in rescue techniques for vertical rope access.

Level II

Building on the Basic Course, instruction is provide in vertical and combination access techniques. Upon passing the examination, the user is capable of flexible implementation of a large portion of rope access techniques. This includes complex rescue techniques as well. In addition, instruction is provided in extended knot skills, construction site safety measures, and the installation of anchor points.

Level III


This course is aimed at users with company responsibilities or who are themselves company owners and in both cases must deal with the planning and execution of SZT construction sites (rope access techniques on construction sites). Main topics include legal principles, such as worker safety laws and accident prevention regulations as well as the duties of a company. In addition, instruction is provided in the elaboration of danger assessment studies, operational instructions, and conducting accident prevention instructions and training. Complex access and rescue techniques comprise the practical portion of this program.
