We are networkers

FISAT activities are concentrated in the Board, the Advisory Board, and the General Assembly of the Membership. One important factor contributing to the organization’s success is, in addition, the Certifier Team, which continually adapts and revisers the rules and safety guidelines for the training sector. The Safety and Training Division deals with updates of the guidelines and examination requirements. Moreover, members conduct material tests and fall experiments to detect potential sources of danger.
As the members require, other working groups can be formed:

• "Rope climbing techniques for tree care" (AG SKT)
• "Rope techniques in experience pedagogy“ (AG StEp)
• "High-altitude work" (AG HA)

FISAT is represented on the following panels:

• Standards committee “Personal safety equipment against falls“" (NPS 31) in DIN
• Working group "Rigging training" in the Association for Professional Light and Sound Techniques (VPLT e.V.)
• Organization committee for the European Rope Access Championship (ERAC)
• Organization committee for the German Industrial Climber Cup
• Standards committee "Rope Access" and "PPE against Falls from a Height" in the International Standard Organization (ISO)
• Working group „Rope-assisted access and positioning techniques“ under the direction of the workers’ compensation board
