FISAT is present at various domestic trade fairs, on the one hand to inform professionals about innovations, and on the other to maintain existing contacts and make new ones. The relevant sites for us to show our presence include:
The trade fair „Current Work Protection“, „Arbeitsschutz Aktuell“ or A+A is the largest work safety trade fair in Europe. FISAT has had its own stand here since 2007 to cement existing contacts with agency representatives and to establish new ones. Our demonstrations on site serve to inform the professional audience about current developments.
At the Hannover Trade Fair FISAT put on a choreographed show in 2006 to stage rope-assisted access and positioning techniques. At the Metal Workers Compensation Board’s stand, two rope access technicians demonstrated their safety advantage especially in emergency situations. Highpoint of was a realistic demonstration of a spontaneous rope-assisted rescue operation, moderated by Marco Einhaus a health and safety instructor from the Metal Workers Compensation Board.
In 2004, FISAT demonstrated access and positioning methods using rope techniques here. At the Construction Workers Compensation Board's stand, two rope access technicians first showed the construction certified transport and safety systems and then demonstrated per rules BGI 772 rope ascent and descent. The expert moderators from the Construction Workers Compensation Board, Jahnke, Jorczyk, and Mittelstaedt, explained both advantages and limitations of these access and positioning techniques to a broad audience of professionals. This collaborative presentation by FISAT and the Compensation Board with a very practical demonstration was most informative for audience and participants alike.
